Travelers Insurance Advertising Campaign “Take The Scary Out Of Life”

Travelers Insurance used animal magic to promote its offer of assurance of well being in the advertising campaign called “Take The Scary Out Of Life”. The television advertising campaign uses footage shot in South Africa, with CGI assets modeled in London, animated in Los Angeles, with fur lighting in Vancouver and final compositing in Los Angeles. 'Take the scary out of life' campaign was created by was Fallon Minneapolis advertising agency. There were few campaign videos.

First video commercial try to illustrate how life might be if we weren’t afraid of anything. Video features lions, zebras, crocodiles, vultures and all sorts of other animals getting along famously at what would normally be a very dangerous watering hole.

In the second commercial, titled “Rattlesnake” a rabbit unwittingly stumbles across a menacing rattlesnake. The rattlesnake loses all credibility, however, when we see that it's had a bogus repair job done on its rattle.

KarstadtQuelle German Insurance Company is making the best use of bowling lanes by advertising dental implant coverage. Banners with faces printed on were attached to the wall at the end of the lanes. So when you bowl a strike it looks like you just have knocked out all teeth.

Yes I have seen some tooth ambients before, but this one's great! First of all in bowling you can find older people, that sis the target group of that ad.

I think even my grandpa would remember the phone number after some hours played bowling. Good job by Jung von Matt advertising agency.

Dental insurance commercial: Guess Who?

Funny commercial from Jung von Matt/Alster advertising agency in Germany, for German insurance company KarstadtQuelle Versicherungen promoting dental insurance services.

Really funny video… but maybe a little bit disgusting. They could have used anything solid like biscuit or something else rather than liquid. Liquid from anyone else mouth looks more disgusting than anything solid being crushed by the teeth.

Commercial aired on January 2010. Other credits you can find below.

HSBC insurance: Accidents always happen without warning.

HSBC insurance company offer a range of insurance policies including Car Insurance, Home Insurance, Sickness, Unemployment and Life Cover, Travel Insurance, Student Insurance or even Pet Insurance.

Communicating to all people and visitors at HSBC’s branches was the best moment to have an insurance policy with special rates.

According to the concept “Accidents always happen without warning” at the material was developed as safety warning signals to communicate risks people are exposed to and the possibility to get involved in an accident.

Nice campaign in my opinion, but the translation could be more like “Accidents can happen without warning“, I think this would be closer to the Spanish meaning of the copy.

This campaign is created by Mindshare - Team HSBC advertising agency in Colombia and released on July 2008. Other credits you can see below.

Swiss National Insurance Company Print Ads: Nothing is certain

Funny print commercials from Swiss National Insurance Company, created by Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett advertising agency, saying to us that, nothing is certain.

First of all ad, titled “Bra”. Who says selling Insurance can't be fun? Reminds me the MasterCard credit card campaign "Priceless".

Second ad – Ikea. What better way to paint a picture of the unexpected than to char a picture perfect Ikea ad? Ikea represents that everything-in-its-right-place company, and this is what happens when things go wrong. You're always taking a risk when you reference advertising other than your own. So, Ikea should take this as a complimented. Ikea's work is so iconic and embedded into the culture that it makes this do a lot of work.

Third advert – cows. This is a pretty sweet visual, but it doesn't seem to fit with the other two ads, does it? Maybe I'm missing the overall idea.
